Neill had the arduous challenge of planning a series of trips to Antarctica in the midst of the Pandemic. From the first encounter, he made us feel at ease given his robust knowledge of Antarctica and his genuine passion for its preservation. We had a trip booked with another company and it was canceled twice due to Covid. We were already following the ATG travel group on Facebook so I contacted Neill Drake. He took amazing care of us from the very beginning. He would schedule group calls, he answered all of our questions, and he connected everyone he booked via WhatsApp before our trip. It was amazing! By the time we were on the boat, it was like we had all been friends for years. It went a long way to create camaraderie on the boat. Antarctica is a trip of a lifetime always but Neill made it super special.

It was very simple. I had done a ton of research so knew what I wanted. I had followed their Facebook group for years for all the great info everyone shares. ATG often advertises special deals, so when I was ready to finally book, I reached out to see if they had anything available that beat prices I had found, and they had an amazing deal that was exactly what I wanted. They answered lots of questions, easing any concerns I had about going through a third party. I booked about a year out, and they periodically kept in touch keeping me informed along the way. As the date approached, they handled all the forms and such. It was all super easy.

I can’t say enough about my booking experience with ATG. I was in the process of booking the Svalbard itinerary, when Neil Drake posted on Facebook that he was taking a group to Svalbard on the same sailing and to check with ATG for special pricing. So glad I did. ATG knocked $2K off the Quark quote. As a solo traveler booking a balcony cabin, I was extremely happy. ATG took over my reservation, kept me updated along the way and touched base with me 2 weeks before sailing to ask if I had any questions or concerns. The customer service was off the charts. I was so impressed with ATG, that I’m in the process of booking Greenland to Newfoundland in September 2027.

Amazing! Booking a polar trip can be overwhelming and intimidating but ATG helped me a lot in narrowing down my options based on my preferences. The team immediately responds to my questions or inquires and all the transactions went seamless. Easy 🙂 and it took me 5 years to book so the team (especially Neill) was very patient! This was a ATG trip so I was matched up with a group where I made lifelong friends. The cost was good too given we could share cabins with members of the group (perfect for solo travellers). I'm not sure we had the cheapest deal on the boat but it was definitely among the good deals. We got sent a lot of documents on what to expect, plus we had the pre cruise dinner, and a whatsapp group (still active from time to time 4 years later) so it felt really reassuring. On top of it, we even saw some of the group members in Iguazu beforehand, and in Patagonia after too so it was pretty good! During the trip, we were together with the group for expeditions and also a couple of dinners at the top floor restaurant. It made it easier to make new friends and dont feel alone, which is not always easy as a solo traveller.

Could not have been better. They were on top of everything and responded exceptionally fast at all times.

Excellent. It was at the height of the Covid pandemic amd new variants appeared daily, govts changed the rules hourly. We literally did not know from one hour to the next if we would catch Covid, be able to travel, if the ship would sail. Neill accompanied us all the way, finding solutions and reassuring us.
