Our founder has guided on over a hundred expeditions to Antarctica, and every member of our team visits the polar regions multiple times a year, so we know exactly what we are offering.

Same company, same team, headquartered in San Diego. Antarctica Travel Group is the name you will know from the 54,000-strong community and The Drake Shake. Let’s Go Polar is where the booking happens. If you have dealt with ATG before, you are already dealing with us.
Meet the team behind both names →Name and email, that is it. We send unpublished operator offers, last-minute openings and the occasional thing worth dropping everything for.
Check your inbox for the confirmation. Someone on the team has been told you are interested and will be in touch about what is discounted right now.
Each one opens the departure list already filtered for you.
Everyone here goes back to the polar regions every year, working and travelling. Neill has over 1,000 days guiding in Antarctica. What you get on the phone or on WhatsApp is what we learned out there.
Operators send agencies deals they never make public. When one fits the trip you are looking at, we pass it straight on.
No parent company and no consortium above us. Every operator relationship is ours, negotiated directly, and that is where the flexibility and the better rates come from.
The ATG group is where travellers ask the awkward questions and hear back from people who have already been.
Reduced fares, waived single supplements and onboard credits move week to week and operator to operator, so we keep the live list on one page rather than scattered here.
Prices come from operators’ published rates plus private agency offers. They are not pulled live from operator booking systems.
You will never be able to explain the emotional connection you developed with Antarctica. You can only ever understand it if you experience it for yourself.

Amazing! Booking a polar trip can be overwhelming and intimidating but ATG helped me a lot in narrowing down my options based on my preferences. The team immediately responds to my questions or inquires and all the transactions went seamless.
…ATG often advertises special deals, so when I was ready to finally book, I reached out to see if they had anything available that beat prices I had found, and they had an amazing deal that was exactly what I wanted.
Booking with Ricardo couldn’t have been easier. He did extensive research and presented options that perfectly matched what I was looking for. Ricardo truly hit the nail on the head. I was able to camp, kayak, and participate in a photography class — all of my must-dos for the trip.
Easy :) and it took me 5 years to book so the team (especially Neill) was very patient! This was a ATG trip so I was matched up with a group where I made lifelong friends. The cost was good too given we could share cabins with members of the group (perfect for solo travellers).
Excellent. It was at the height of the Covid pandemic amd new variants appeared daily, govts changed the rules hourly. We literally did not know from one hour to the next if we would catch Covid, be able to travel, if the ship would sail. Neill accompanied us all the way, finding solutions and reassuring us.
Five or six questions. A specialist comes back with what matches and what it really costs.

We send deals when we get them, and some never reach the site at all.
