Many operators provide or loan tall insulated waterproof rubber boots for landings, but not all do, and the arrangement varies. Some include them in the fare, some rent them, and some need your size well in advance. Check your operator's voyage documents before you buy or pack heavy boots, and never assume it because another company does it.
Things worth confirming beyond yes or no: the size range, whether wide or extra-large fits exist, whether your orthotics fit inside, and whether the supplied boots also cover South Georgia and Falklands landings.
Even when boots are supplied, bring comfortable closed-toe shoes with good traction for the ship, travel days and time in Ushuaia or Punta Arenas. Expedition boots live in the mudroom and are too warm and clumsy for indoor use.
