The journey begins in Longyearbyen on Spitsbergen, the world’s northernmost town, where Arctic waters are home to whales and walruses and a rich history of polar exploration comes to life. From here, the expedition explores Svalbard, a vast High Arctic wilderness of dramatic fjords, immense glaciers, and shifting sea ice that forms prime habitat for polar bears, alongside reindeer, seals, and Arctic foxes. The voyage concludes back in Longyearbyen, where the stark beauty and isolation of this remote Arctic outpost leave a lasting impression.

Yes; kayaking enables water-level observation of scenery, ice formations, and wildlife in silence. Under normal conditions, at least one kayak session per cruise per guest occurs. Duration runs 1.5–3 hours.
